“Vices” | by Marshal Athletic Club
Everyone has a way they escape from the everyday world, this is normal, there is nothing wrong with wanting a break.
But how much are these vices holding you back?
A better question: if there are no vices to turn to, how much can one improve in a month? With any athlete, or high performer - time and health are the two most valuable currencies. Cut out the things that harm those the most, how much potential you can unlock?
The Challenge:
No Smoking
(using any drugs, nicotine or tobacco)
No Alcohol
No Junk Food
No Mindless Scrolling
The goals to cut out all the harmful vices people turn to, to see how much improvement can be made in thirty days.

“You don’t rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”
- James Clear
Vices are not just physical things that we all turn to, they can also be mental. When something frustrates you, how do you act? When things get difficult, how do you deal with the discomfort? Can you take accountability for your actions or are you always looking for an out?
Everyone always says they want to change, that is hard when we have to sacrifice what is comfortable. But if you want change, you have to change. Comfort is a distraction, it keeps you from being your highest self. Let go of what is comfortable, embrace difficulty and you’ll be surprised at what you become. What can you do in thirty days with no distractions?
